Those looking for thrills will want to boot up Grand Theft Auto Online for Stunt Week. The multiplayer experience by Rockstar Games takes fans to San Andreas where they can roam the city freely. Whether going head to head with other players or causing unbridled chaos in the streets, GTA Online has it all.
With an original release in 2013, Rockstar has kept GTA Online going for years now. The widespread appeal of the series is supported by consistent updates to the multiplayer mode. These can range from major expansions like the Cayo Perico island and heist to smaller content updates adding more vehicles and weaponry. Stunt Week is looking to shake things up by giving bonuses to specific types of activities.

The first of the updates come to a game mode called Drop Zone in GTA Online. Here competitors skydive out of a chopper, and upon landing defend the Zone against other players. The benefit is earning triple GTA$ and Reputation just for competing. Though if for those uninterested in PvP, just pick up any Parachute job to also earn bonuses. Head to a Parachute marker or use Parachute Jobs from the Jobs list to start. These activities will earn double GTA$ and RP, as well as a Bigness Jackal Sweater by April 14. To encourage participation, all parachute items are free for the full week.
Rockstar also includes more for fans to celebrate Stunt Week. Grab any two or four-wheeled vehicle and put jump skills to the test. After finishing up 5 Stunt Jumps throughout the map, players can look forward to a GTA$500,000 deposit helping them make money fast in GTA Online. For double GTA$ and RP, also check out Biker Sell Missions and MC Work & Challenges during the week. If fans are strapped for cash, the event has it covered by offering all Garages and Hangers for 40% off.
At this point, it is not that surprising to see Rockstar continue to evolve GTA Online. Though this update airs more on the minor side, it still provides plenty of ways to enjoy the game. Following a stunt theme could get players to try out activities they typically avoid. No doubt there will be a lot of vehicular antics as fans try to complete the Stunt Jumps while exploring for Bigfoot peyote plants. Making the gear to do Parachute jobs free should also be a boon for those wanting to try out the events.
Of course, some will likely see Stunt Week as an unexciting addition to the game. With it only lasting a week, there is not really any way to take advantage of the bonuses for long. Veterans will probably already have access to Garages and Hangers too, so the discounts there may not be a huge draw. In any case, fans of GTA Online can benefit from taking part in these death-defying activities and pushing their adrenaline to the brink.
Grand Theft Auto Online is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
