Corvo and Emily use bonecharms to get the most out of their abilities. Which bonecharms are the most vital in Dishonored 2 and how are they acquired?

Bonecharms in Dishonored 2 are items the player can equip to enhance Corvo or Emily's various abilities. This list primarily focuses more on the health and movement bonecharms but there are several different categories of charms to unlock. From power bonecharms to charms focusing on boosted health, rat swarms that include even more white rats, more powerful grenades, and many, many more; finding these items during each mission is crucial to becoming the ultimate masked assassin.

There aren't any bonecharms to be found during the starting mission, while each one going forward has several scattered throughout each area to collect. Some charms can be found within the game world but others will need to be crafted. Overall, there are three types of bonecharms: basic charms that come with standard abilities or enhancements, corrupted ones that come with a penalty, and black charms. The latter objects are the top-tier bonecharms. With dozens to find in Karnaca, here are the most crucial bonecharms.

10 Lucky Needle

Players who prefer the ranged, stealthy approach will want to locate this first bonecharm. The Lucky Needle is a weapon upgrade that gives the player a slight chance to pick up Sleep Darts while using the silent crossbow, which is incredibly useful for somebody who doesn't want to make any noise or worry about running out of darts.

This regular bonecharm is hiding in the Dust District inside an Overseer Outpost. Using Far Reach, locate the balcony above the streets and locate the door. Directly inside sitting on top of the desk surrounded by corpses is the charm Lucky Needle Bonecharm.

9 Undertaker

These next four bonecharms focus more on boosting the player's movement, which is a massive factor in the Arkane sequel. Equipping the Undertaker bonecharm allows the player to move slightly faster while carrying a lifeless body in an attempt to discard any evidence while remaining unnoticed.

Like most bonecharms, this perk can be found randomly throughout a playthrough or crafted using the Bonecharm Crafting ability. This object can be crafted using a Raw Whalebone and Movement.

8 Swift Shadow

The Swift Shadow boncharm will give the player a slight boost to movement speed while crouched down in stealth mode. The charm makes it faster to navigate darkened areas and easier to escape without making a sound. With stealth being one of the biggest core mechanics in the Dishonored series, this one should certainly be one of the first charms equipped.

An interesting feature with Swift Shadow is if stacked on top of one another four times, it makes the player navigate quicker while crouched than while standing up.

7 Swift Stalker

With the Swift Stalker charm equipped, once the player has finished slashing through a wave of enemies and sheathed a weapon, their movement speed will be slightly increased.

Combine this charm with the others listed so far, and the player will be able to glide through each alley virtually unnoticed. To craft this item, the player will need to use one Raw Whalebone and use one Movement.

6 Acrobat

The Acrobat bonecharm focuses on enhancing the player's climbing speed giving the action a slight boost. Much of the time spent exploring the streets of the coastal city of Karnaca will be spent ascending various walls and structures to gain an advantage over the enemies below.

Acrobat is randomly placed throughout the world or can be easily crafted with a pair of one Raw Whalebone and one Movement.

5 Healthy Appetite

These next three bonecharms focus on regenerating the player's health and mana, which are obviously two massive aspects of Dishonored 2 that impact virtually every move. The Healthy Appetite bonecharm will cause all food consumed to restore more player health than usual.

Now, Corvo or Emily can save all of those juicy Bastillian Peaches and delicious Pratchett Jellied Eels for later rather than having to put a pause on things for a moment while gobbling them all up in the middle of a street fight.

4 Robust

Corvo and Emily rely on the S&J Health Elixirs that act as a health potion in the Dishonored series, rescuing the player while they're huddled in the corner attempting to survive a tough battle. Equipping the Robust bonecharm will cause these elixirs to restore slightly more health to the player when used. To craft, collect a single Raw Whalebone and one Restoration.

3 Spirit Water

With fountains littering each area in Dishonored 2, this next charm will be incredibly useful especially if the player has run out of Addermire Solution. Crafting Spirit Water requires Raw Whalebone and Restoration. This charm will restore mana anytime the player drinks from a fountain.

Using any skills will drain the player's mana and they will then need to wait several seconds before being able to use another one, so being able to approach any fountain and regenerate the mana by drinking the water while starving for some more energy juice can certainly come to be useful.

2 Lightweight

The single Corrupted bonecharm on this list comes with a slight penalty. When equipped, the player will take less damage from falling off of a high surface. This is something that happens quite frequently while the assassin is dashing from the rooftop to the shadows below, so this charm is certainly beneficial.

However, it will also cut health regeneration in half. This charm requires three Raw Whalebone to craft.

1 Hardiness

Lastly, the one and only Black bonecharm on the list will boost the player's maximum health. The enemies found in the Dishonored sequel are powerful, brutal, and will quickly take down the masked killer and a slight boost in health can give the player that extra chance to deal some damage or make an escape.

While food and elixirs (or fountains) are not always accessible or nearby, this charm can be picked up randomly throughout the game or crafted using just four Raw Whalebone.
