A new video by a YouTuber shows just what it would look like if popular Viking Survival sim Valheim was mixed with One Punch Man.

Valheim and One Punch Man, an anime following a superhero that is so strong he is able to defeat any opponent with merely a single punch, is a crossover that few people would expect. But as a new video shows, it is a crossover that fits right in with Valheim.

Valheim is an immensely popular Viking-themed survival game that blew up upon release. It tasks players with tracking down a series of boss creatures and defeating them while surviving the harsh wilderness and wildlife. Valheim features a robust building system that players have used to create some insane builds that show how creative the game's dedicated community really is. Recently, a player set out to mix the survival sim with the popular bald anime hero, and the results are simply great.

The video comes from YouTuber TheGrumpySpanner, who produced a very entertaining video of him killing every boss in Valheim with just a single punch. The video is very well produced, and includes plenty of references to both the game and the anime to please fans of both. After a brief introduction showing their training routine of 100 sit-ups, 100 push-ups, and 100 squats, they don their superhero costume, shed all of their hair and beard, and kick off their worldwide boss slaughter tour around Valheim.

Any players that have crossed the paths of these bosses will most likely get some satisfaction seeing them so easily defeated. Bosses in Valheim are fierce and challenging, so it is pretty humorous seeing them get dispatched so easily. The effect is achieved through a mod that TheGrumpySpanner made themselves, and the results are pretty spectacular. The costume is an especially nice touch, even though it does stick out from Valheim's typical Viking garb, and seeing the bright red gloves cause a giant slime ball to pop in a single hit is pretty fantastic.

Valheim has a huge modding community, with a lot of incredible additions to the game being made to help touch the Valheim experience up with some good quality of life improvements as well as entirely new features or maps from other settings that players want to see. Valheim's popularity does not seem as if it is going to wane anytime soon, and the possibilities for what else players can add to the survival sim is are still sky-high. With the huge player numbers that the game is maintaining, the player base will undoubtedly keep finding new improvements and fixes for the devs and modders to implement alike.

Valheim is available now on PC.
