Marvelous Games confirms No More Heroes 3 will be getting a livestream this week with designer Suda51 presenting a new look at the game.

As rumors continue to swirl about the possible Nintendo Switch Pro, there are still millions of players invested in Nintendo's hybrid platform. While some gamers await further information about the "new" Switch, it doesn't mean publishers have forgotten about the current model. One of the biggest releases will be coming from prolific developer Suda51, with the return of one of the Wii's most bloodthirsty characters.

No More Heroes 3 marks the long awaited return of Travis Touchdown in a fully fledged numbered sequel for the Action title. With No More Heroes 3 scheduled for an August release date, fans are still keen on seeing more of what the Switch exclusive has to offer. Now just a few months away from release, developer Grasshopper Manufacture and publisher Marvelous confirm a livestream will be held to show off Travis Touchdown's new skills.

In the YouTube livestream that will be held on April 8 at 8am EST, publisher Marvelous will be providing new information on No More Heroes 3. Dubbed the "No More Broadcast Station 5.1GHm" stream, the panel will feature No More Heroes 3 designer Goichi "Suda51" Suda, Japanese celebrity Mafia Kajita, and special guest Vtuber Botan Shishiro. It is confirmed that the stream will have a world-premiere trailer for No More Heroes 3 which is likely to show a much deeper look at gameplay.

The stream will also feature a special treat for fans as Suda51 will be talking about the history of the No More Heroes franchise. While not specifically laid out, Suda will likely be discussing each entry of the franchise from the original No More Heroes and its sequel No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. While initially releasing as some of the most memorable third-party Wii exclusives, both games have since been ported to the Switch to considerable fanfare. Limited Run Games is even releasing physical editions of both the original No More Heroes games on Switch.

Some fans are even holding out hope that the upcoming stream may be the place where Suda51 confirms the rumored PC ports of No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. It was back in December 2020 that the No More Heroes PC ports were leaked by the ESRB, but since then no updates have come regarding the long awaited releases. With the stream being focused on No More Heroes 3, there is a small chance it may be the time for the official reveal of the ports.

So with a full two days until the stream officially kicks off, it does give players some time to catch up on the franchise to get what will likely be many No More Heroes references. It may even be a chance to fans to get further teasing about some mysterious characters like "The Emerald Guy."

No More Heroes 3 will release on August 27 for the Nintendo Switch.
