One of Fortnite's Spire Challenges instructs players to collect a Cult Talisman from a Guardian, and this guide is here to help.

Players that want to complete all of the Spire Challenges in Fortnite will need to collect a number of different items for Tanara and Raz. One of the items that fans must find is a Cult Talisman, and, as the challenge description indicates, it comes from a Guardian. For those players that need some assistance tracking down a relevant Guardian in Fortnite, several suitable locations can be found in this short guide.

To begin, the Guardians that are being referenced by this challenge are none other than the Spire Guardians that were added to the game at the beginning of Season 6. These NPCs are typically found wandering around the small towers that are scattered across Fortnite's map, and there are six of them in total. Players can find a map that highlights the positions of these six towers below, and fans that reference it should have no trouble locating a Guardian.

Once a fan has encountered a Spire Guardian, they will need to eliminate it in order to receive the Cult Talisman. This may be easier said than done, though, as it can be somewhat difficult to defeat these Fortnite NPCs due to their shields and ability to teleport. As such, players are advised to spend some time putting together a solid loadout and amassing a reasonable amount of ammo before they engage a Spire Guardian, and fans that do not heed this warning may be in for some trouble.

After dispatching a Guardian, players must simply interact with the Cult Talisman on the ground to pick it up and complete the task at hand. This will certainly not mark the end of Fortnite's Spire Challenges, though, and fans will now need to retrieve the Cult Artifact from the Spire. This item can be found in a house at the bottom of the Spire, and fans will receive 30,000 XP when they pick it up.

From there, players will need to harvest a wolf fang, a boar tusk, and three chicken feathers, and that may prove to be the most time-consuming challenge of them all. This is primarily due to the elusive nature of wolves in Fortnite, and indeed it may take fans quite a while to track one down. That said, fans that focus on the mountainous and hilly regions on the south side of the map, and turn on Visualize Sound Effects, should ultimately be able to find a wolf and complete the task.

Fortnite is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
