Pokemon has always been known for having adorable fighting creatures with the most popular being Pikachu, who has been immortalized as a Funko Pop.

This year marks the 25 year anniversary of the debut of Pokemon. Fans of Pokemon have been playing the game on various handheld devices for 25 years now. With so many iterations of Pokemon, fans are sure to have their favorites from each gaming generation. While 2021 will be full of surprises for the celebration, dubbed Pokemon25, there’s also a different way players can catch their favorite Pokemon outside of the game. Funko Inc. created Pokemon figures back in 2018, and they’re still in circulation for players to find and collect.

Funko is known for creating stylized versions of characters for players to take home and collect. Funko Pop! Vinyl figures have only increased in popularity since their debut, leading to tons of figures modeled after pop culture references. The Pokemon Pop Vinyls have a wide array of options, with even more slated to come out this year. All prices reported are based on the Funko app and Pop Price Guide (PPG) and subject to change based on demand and availability.

Arguably the most well-known Pokemon, Pikachu even got their own balloon in the Macy’s Day Parade. This electric Pokemon is never far from Ash Ketchum, the protagonist of the Pokemon anime. Pikachu has 9 different figure variations available, with one upcoming release where they’re in an angry pose. The original Pikachu Funko Pop released in 2018 as a Target exclusive and currently has a value of $11. There’s also an alternate variation of the original Pop that’s completely silver and was released for Pokemon25. A flocked (or fuzzy) version was also released in 2020 as a GameStop exclusive and has a value of $17.

There was also the release of a 10-inch Pikachu Pop with two different variations. The regular one released in 2018 as a Target exclusive and is currently valued at $55. The second was released for Pokemon25 in 2021 as a silver, metallic Target exclusive with a value of $38. Pikachu also has an even bigger Funko Pop, coming it at 18-inches tall that was released in 2020 and has a value of $70.

Other Pikachu Funko Pops include one where they look like they’re happily waving, which came out in 2019 and is currently valued at $13. Another Pikachu Pop looks angry like they’re standing and ready to strike with lightning power. This figure was released in 2020 and has a value of $9. This angry Pikachu Funko Pop also has a flocked version that was a New York Comic Con exclusive and valued at $42, or the Fall Convention version that’s valued at $22.

Pichu wasn’t introduced until later in the Pokemon games and anime, but they’re the original form of Pikachu. All Pikachus originally evolved from Pichus. This adorable, tiny Pokemon has two different Funko Pop! Vinyl figures. The original figure was released in 2020 and currently has a value of $7. The other iteration is flocked and released as a WonderCon and FYE exclusive. The WonderCon version has an estimated value of $20, while the FYE exclusive has a value of $21.

Pichu may be the first Pikachu evolution, but Raichu is the last. There are two versions of Raichu in-game (Kantonian and Alolan), but only one Funko Pop figure. The figure is modeled after the Kantonian version of Raichu and came out in 2020. However, because this Pop is so new, there’s no trending price to report yet. As for retail price, it’s currently listed on the Funko website for $11.

There are quite a few other Pokemon Funko Pop! Vinyl figures. As for future Pokemon figures, Funko already has quite a few new ones planned. It also wouldn’t be surprising if more came out in celebration of Pokemon25.

Pokemon Go is available on Android and iOS.
