A new Genshin Impact trailer confirms the previously teased character Rosaria will be arriving with the Version 1.4 update later this month alongside an event called the Windblume Festival and some quality-of-life changes.
Like most characters in Genshin Impact, Rosaria was heavily rumored before she was introduced in December through Albedo's Dragonspine quests, though she's a four-star character rather than a five-star. Some players speculated she would have released alongside the Cryo five-star Ganyu, but that didn't happen, which makes sense as Rosaria also has a Cryo Vision - though her design is a bit different than others of the same Elemental. Her design features a mauve color scheme rather than something light blue. Many Genshin Impact fans fell in love with her design, but others were unimpressed.

Players won't have to wait much longer to play Rosaria in Genshin Impact. According to a recent trailer and the Version 1.4 Special Program, the next major Genshin Impact update will release on March 17 with several new events, the new four-star character, and some quality-of-life improvements that fans have been requesting. A new event series will also premiere called Hangout Events, in which players will get to spend time with Noelle, Barbara, Chongyun, and Bennett and get to know them. This also comes with the chance to experience different endings and memories depending on the choices made.
As far as the upcoming Genshin Impact character Rosaria goes, she's a polearm wielder like Zhongli, Xiao, and Hu Tao, but she operates differently than them. Previously leaked footage showed off her move set, and unlike the four-star Pyro Xiangling, Rosaria has more wide swings in her normal attacks, and her Elemental Burst hits a large diameter surrounding the player with Cryo DMG. Because of this, many players are speculating that Rosaria will be good against mobs.
According to Genshin Impact lore, Rosaria is a sister of the Church of Favonius alongside Barbara. However, she's noted for being lazy and refusing to attend choir practice because she finds it boring.
The biggest new event coming to Genshin Impact with Version 1.4 is the Invitation of Windblume, though it hasn't been confirmed how long the event will last. All Travelers at Adventure Rank 20 or above who have completed the main quest Song of the Dragon and Freedom are welcome to celebrate the Windblume Festival in Mondstadt, where there will be mini-games with rewards.
As for quality-of-life improvements, Version 1.4 will increase the Condensed Resin cap to five, will allow players to decrease World Level, and Excess EXP gained after hitting Adventure Rank 60 will be converted to Mora, along with more minor changes.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
