Mihoyo’s gacha action-adventure game Genshin Impact has continued to entice its players to keep logging into the game with regular events, activities, and announcements of new Genshin Impact characters. Now, the game is once again hosting the recently concluded Slime Paradise event but is finally making it available for PlayStation 4 players.
The previous Genshin Impact Slime Paradise event was a browser-based activity that was launched in January 2021. The goal of the game was to create a park that will make a variety of slimes want to move in, and different monsters to come visit. Players have to complete daily tasks such as logging in, etc., to earn Paradise Coins, which they can use to purchase decorative items in the shop. On the other hand, Paradise Tickets were earned by completing event tasks or having the right decorations, and players can use these to redeem Moira, and even Primogems.

On the official Genshin Impact Twitter account, the development team formally announced the start date of the Slime Paradise event for Playstation 4 players. The event will be available starting March 25, 2021, 1:00PM (UTC+8). In the forums, the devs shared that the reason that this event was delayed for Genshin Impact PlayStation 4 players was due to some technical problems. This is likely due to account issues on the PlayStation Network.
The team did not share how exactly the event will work on the PlayStation 4 though given that the Genshin Impact Slime Paradise event is a solely web-based activity, players may have to use the console’s built-in web browser to be able to access the event. Or it is possible that players will be able to log in to the event microsite using their PS4 account details. Until more official news confirms information, players will have to wait for more details from the devs.
The Slime Paradise event is happening right after Genshin Impact’s 1.4 version update, which will introduce Rosario into the character roster, and will end on April 4, 2021.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
