For the players that have watched the 2018 horror film, Hereditary, seeing Paimon's name pop up the first time may have been a bit of a surprise. Although not pronounced the same (Genshin Impact's Paimon being "pie-mon" and Hereditary's Paimon being said "pay-min"), the identical name alone was enough to raise a red flag for some players.
For those unacquainted with Hereditary, originating from a mid-17th century text, there was a powerful yet evil king that was apparently very close to and obedient to Lucifer, that also happened to go by the name Paimon. A hilarious coincidence, of course, but the possibility that Paimon has a dark past that links her to this much more sinister lore is an interesting theory to entertain!

During Venti's storyline, Paimon snaps for a moment after the bard decides to continuously avoid answering any questions by giggling his way out of the situation, depending on his cute appearance to get him out of trouble. However, Paimon wasn't having any of it. And fans apparently couldn't get enough of it; even making hour loops of Paimon's famous, "what do you mean 'hehe'!?" line on YouTube.

The whole joke about Netflix adaptation's casting being a bit iffy knows no bounds. Genshin Impact fans couldn't resist making a joke about Paimon's fandom-given nickname and jumped in on this Netflix meme as well.
Not only did they make the joke about Paimon being emergency food for the Traveller, but they also made it a point to use a picture of canned foods that are non-perishable and really emphasizing the "emergency" part of Paimon's title of "emergency food". What amazing attention to detail!

This meme is an amazing crossover of two titles that made a huge impact on the gaming community (one perhaps a little more successfully than the other). This Keanu Reeves-Paimon hybrid of a character was thanks to another Reddit user and was a great take on the Cyberpunk 2077 reveal trailer.
On top of the Paimon hairdo, photoshopping Keanu into the world of Genshin Impact was a great touch that truly allowed fans to feel a true sense of immersion.
