Disney Dreamlight Valley boasts an array of lively critters inhabiting each of its biomes. Players can give these critters their favorite foods, increasing their affection with the player and enabling the player to befriend them. Once the player has maxed affection with a critter, they will unlock it in their collection, and it can be equipped as an accompanying companion.
