For Pokemon GO trainers stumped on what they should use as their new team in the Great League Remix, here is a list of some different suggestions.

Pokemon GO has continuously created new ways to experience the game and continue keeping the game entertaining for longtime fans. As a part of the new April events in Pokemon GO, players can participate in the Great League again but with a twist.

For the Pokemon GO Great League remixed version, the same rules apply that trainers can only use with a maximum CP of 1,500. However, now there is a list of ten of the most popular Pokemon used in March of 2021 that are now banned from competing. That list of Pokemon include; Venusaur, Raichu/Alolan Raichu, Marowak/Alolan Marowak, Azumarill, Umbreon, Skarmory, Swampert, Galvantula, Stunfisk/Galarian Stunfisk, and Talonflame.

This is all an effort on Niantic's part to teach trainers to expand their horizons and experiment with the many different Pokemon options. The competition is only available for a limited time, so for Pokemon GO players who need helping to choose a team for the event, here are some good suggestions for Pokemon to use.

One of the best options to use outside of the list would be Medicham, preferably Medicham XL. It is a mighty Pokemon capable of taking down some of the legendaries, such as Registeel. When teamed up with Bastiodon and Sableye, it becomes quite a capable team.

The best moves for Medicham would be either Counter for the fast move and then Ice Punch or Psychic. For Bastiodon, the best moves would be Smack Down for the fast move, then Stone Edge or Flamethrower. Finally, the best moves for Sableye are Shadow Claw for the fast move, then Fould Play or Shadow Sneak.

For fans of Steel-type Pokemon in Pokemon GO, Registeel will be one of the better choices. Having Registeel as the last Pokemon, it'll be hard for just about any trainer to get through that last line of defense. Paired with Mandibuzz and Togekiss will also prove to be a force to be reckoned with.

The best moves for Registeel would be Lock On for the fast move and Focus Blast or Flash Cannon. For Togekiss, the best moves would be Charm for the fast move and Ancient Power or Flamethrower. Lastly, for Mandibuzz, some good moves are Snarl for the fast move and Foul Player or Aerial Ace.

In terms of ranking, Altaria has always been one of the more common choices in the Great League, especially Dragon-type Pokemon. Luckily, it managed to stay just shy of the top ten, so players can still use it. Altaria would work great as the lead or the final Pokemon choice, coupled with Escavalier and Alolan Ninetails.

In terms of moves, the best choices for Altaria are Dragon Breath as the fast move and Sky Attack or Dragon Pulse. For Escavalier, some good moves are Counter for the fast move and either Drill Run or Megahorn. Lastly, for Alolan Ninetails, Powder Snow would work well as a fast move, alongside either Ice-type Weather Ball or Dazzling Gleam.
