Towards the end of July 2023, Pokemon GO rolled out the new Routes feature alongside the limited Blaze New Trails event and the From Z to Zygarde Special Research (completing step 3 gives trainers a Zygarde encounter). And even though it's been a couple of weeks now that the research has gone live, some players are having issues with Step four, which requires people to follow three Routes to earn an Incense.
