Manga is a complex art form that comes with many genres and subgenres. It is often split into different demographics like shonen, shojo, josei, and seinen, and within those demographics there are genres, subgenres, and themes. Many fans will recognize popular genres like romance, isekai, mecha, horror and magical girl, or mahou shojo, as well as subgenres like reverse isekai, romantic comedy, and realistic-robot mecha manga.
