Technical Machines (TMs) are items that can teach Pokemon moves that they normally can't upon leveling up. They have been a part of the Pokemon franchise since the beginning, so it's only natural they'd make a return in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. After being used once, TMs will break and disappear.
