Ubisoft has announced it will be ending online services for ten of its older games, including several classic Assassin's Creed titles. The sunsetting of online services is nothing new in the world of gaming, with developers often shutting down servers for many of their older games. Even console servers and marketplaces are not safe from an inevitable end with Nintendo announcing earlier this month that it would be shutting down Nintendo 3DS and Wii U online servers next year. Now, Ubisoft is the newest developer to announce the end of online support for several games.
