Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have done a lot to reshape the classic Pokemon formula and take the franchise in a new direction, and while all of it is not necessarily coming back in Gen 10, there are major traditions that The Indigo Disk DLC is still to break. The Teal Mask was an overall upgrade compared to Gen 8's Isle of Armor, and while the Crown Tundra DLC set a high bar to clear, Gen 9's The Indigo Disk is slated for a spicy run thanks to its new features, characters, and Pokemon. The leaked Paradox Pokemon in The Indigo Disk are all but random picks in the franchise's history, and they could bring back an old Gen 5 gimmick to tease the next releases.
