For a series about haunted animatronics in a pizzeria, Five Nights at Freddy’s is surprisingly convoluted. Spanning multiple games and books, the series jumps through different decades in sequels and prequels, leaving fans working together to try and figure out the timeline of events. When Five Nights at Freddy’s jumped to live-action for their first-ever movie, fans may have enjoyed what they saw featuring the characters they know, but there were some things left unanswered.
