Just a week before the release of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has shared that the game has been developed in only half a year. Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name picks up the story of fan-favorite character and the face of the franchise Kazuma Kiryu in between the events of Yakuza 6 and 2020's Yakuza: Like a Dragon. A smaller spinoff, Gaiden will also look to bring back the series' beloved action gameplay.
