The future of the Pokemon franchise may be up in the air after the release of The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but it's likely that a sequel to Pokemon Legends: Arceus will be coming in the future. Part of the success of Pokemon Legends: Arceus can be attributed to the popularity of its titular Mythical mascot, and a sequel will have to find a way to incorporate Legendaries and Mythicals in an equally unique way. If this title takes place in the Galar region, there is already an important storyline it could follow with a clear Legendary mascot at its center.
