Dead by Daylight is a complex game under the surface, but one aspect's simplicity works best for what it does. Players have a lot to keep track of in Dead by Daylight, even though each side has one main goal to focus on. Survivors need to repair generators and escape, while Killers need to kill Survivors. Complicating this is the sheer amount of variables involved, as chosen killers, perks, items, and add-ons will drastically change the course of a match. Even with so many different twists in each match, at least one thing is always easy to keep track of.
