Upon accepting NieR Replicant's The Fisherman's Gambit Part 5 side quest, players will receive instruction to catch five Black Bass. While fans will be quite knowledgeable about the basics of fishing in NieR Replicant by the time that they receive this quest, they may still be unclear about exactly where to find the Black Bass that they need. Shining some light on this matter is the exact purpose of this guide, and players that read on will learn a great location for obtaining this fish.

To note, players will need to use Lures to catch Black Bass in NieR Replicant, and that bait can be purchased from the Tackle Shopkeeper in Seafront for 100 Gold each. Fans are thus advised to visit that vendor before they set out on their fishing expeditions, and having a stockpile of Lures on hand is recommended. After catching five Black Bass, NieR Replicant players should return to the Old Man in Seafront to complete the side quest and receive an increase to their fishing skill. This turn-in will not mark the end of the Fisherman's Gambit quest chain, though, and there are actually a total of nine parts. In these subsequent parts, fans will track down Sandfish, Royal Fish, and more, and they will continue to hone their fishing skill as the progress.

Ultimately, these skill increases will allow a player to catch the elusive Rhizodont and earn the Fish of Legend trophy in NieR Replicant.
