Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 may not be the best entry in the franchise, but it is certainly one of the most interesting. Its lackluster campaign has prevented it from reviewing well, but despite the lower-than-normal scores for the latest game in Activision’s unstoppable FPS franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s sales are strong. This is likely due to the multiplayer being a return-to-form, as it leans into nostalgia with classic maps and brings back the old school mini-map as well as map voting. The positively received open-world Zombies mode could also be a contributing factor, though it and multiplayer could benefit greatly from the same feature.
