2023 has been an absolutely monumental year for video game releases, with tons of remakes of beloved classics, some sequels years in the making, and some brand-new IP from some major first-party studios. But while these huge releases have taken up a lot of the discussion this year, a bunch of excellent Indie games have been quietly released under the radar. But now, it's finally their time to shine, with The Game Awards 2023 highlighting some of the year's best Indie games.
