Before Hogwarts Legacy launched, and certainly before its official gameplay reveal, there was a lot of speculation about what an open-world action-RPG set in the wizarding world would look like. The early leak gave some insight into what would eventually turn out to be fairly similar, but UI and other subtle gameplay details were still undetermined. It was shown that an early build of Hogwarts Legacy featured Knuts, Sickles, and Galleons, for example, though that would ultimately be distilled to Galleons exclusively for the final product.
