Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players are convinced that online matches are being infiltrated by AI bots. The leading theory is that bots are being placed into matches by developer Sledgehammer Games or publisher Activision in order to boost player stats and make them feel good. This wouldn't be the first time the franchise has been accused of something like this, as Call of Duty: Warzone players thought bots were added to that game.
