Destiny 2's Season of the Wish started this week and is now slated to last a total of 190 days after The Final Shape's delay to June 4, 2024, marking it as the longest season in the history of the game, surpassing Season of the Lost by 7 days. With the recent controversy of the Destiny 2 Starter Pack on Steam, and considering that the additions to make up for the prolonged season ahead of The Final Shape may be less exciting than Season of the Lost's 30th Anniversary Pack, the game needs a win - and a big one.
