DC and Marvel have the potential to make an incredible Ultimate Alliance-style game with some of their best superhero teams.

The 2000s were a great decade for superheroes. It all started when Activision released the first X-Men Legends game in 2004. This was a dungeon-crawler type game that allowed players to choose four mutants to join their team as they battled a variety of enemies, bosses, and solved puzzles. The game was so successful that it spawned a sequel and Activision also released a similar game in 2005 called Marvel Ultimate Alliance that featured characters from all over the Marvel universe. DC Comics characters even got a spotlight in their own version of this game from Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment titled Justice League: Heroes in 2006.
