Pokemon GO Along the Routes event brings multiple Research quests, including A Route to New Friendships Special Research story. The developers at Niantic have introduced a new NPC, Mateo, and the Gift Exchange function with this event. Players can now interact with Mateo and exchange gifts with other trainers while exploring different in-game routes.
