The Legend of Zelda and LEGO are two massive game brands that at one time would never be suspected of uniting. Ever since 2005's LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game, the concept of a LEGO game featuring a licensed franchise has become a reality. In the years since, LEGO games have included such notable franchises as Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, Marvel, and DC, as well as several Star Wars sequels. With an already impressive list of collaborations that are expected to grow in the future, it opens the door to a LEGO game based on pre-established video game properties, such as The Legend of Zelda.
