Void Items in Risk of Rain 2 are something that was added in the Survivors of the Void DLC update back in March of 2022. These items essentially function as an 'alternative' to certain Common, Uncommon, Legendary, and even Boss Items where the general effect is 'similar' to the default item, but twisted or 'corrupted' in some way.
