Generally speaking, Xbox Game Pass has had a great 2023. While it's definitely had its slower months, and it hasn't been completely void of controversies thanks to Redfall's dismal release, Xbox Game Pass has still remained a strong force in the industry this year, marking its sixth year of being one of the best deals in gaming. From gigantic AAA releases like Starfield and Forza Motorsport, to AA games like Texas Chain Saw Massacre, to indie darlings like Sea of Stars, Xbox Game Pass has offered it all this year, potentially setting a new bar not just for itself, but every other gaming subscription service out there.
