Michael Connelly is responsible for creating the Bosch universe with his successful book series, and in 2014, Amazon Prime adapted it into a television series, airing the first season of Bosch, and it has grown ever since, with seven seasons of the original show before a spin-off series was created called Bosch: Legacy, based on Harry Bosch's life as a private investigator after he left the LAPD. Each season of Bosch and Bosch: Legacy has been based on the source material, with a mixture of two books usually used for each season.
