Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been enjoying new content for a while now, with the release of The Teal Mask DLC in September, and three months later with The Indigo Disk capping off the expansion pack called The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. This could seem like the end of the road for Gen 9 games, but a recent announcement revealed that there is at least another content drop for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet coming early next year. With the games now being over one year old and The Pokemon Company likely having some more aces up its sleeve for Pokemon Day in February 2024, there are still a few things players can expect for Gen 9 before the developers move on entirely.
