With a name like The Diner at the End of the Galaxy, it isn’t surprising that the upcoming restaurant management sim takes some sizable inspirations from the works of British author Douglas Adams. And while the writer’s comedic stylings helped shape the game, its inspirations run far wider. Adams is best known for the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series, of which the second book was titled The Restaurant at the End of the Universe–a title General Interactive was obviously winking at with its own The Diner at the End of the Galaxy.
