Turn-based games may not be something new, but Honkai: Star Rail manages to add interesting twists to it. For instance, while battling, players will not only try to compose a party to deal the highest possible damage, but they also must pay attention to the enemy’s Weakness to deplete their Toughness and eventually trigger a Weakness Break. Weakness Break comes with two types of damage, one happens exactly when the Weakness Break is triggered, while the other deals damage at the start of the enemy’s turn as a DoT. Both damage scale with a Honkai: Star Rail stat called Break Effect.
