While nothing has been officially announced yet, it sounds like the next Call of Duty title may be a direct sequel to the extremely popular Black Ops 2. It will supposedly bring back fan-favorite characters, a semi-futuristic setting, and feature everything that fans of the subseries have come to expect over the years. It may be too early to say that this game will be exactly what the franchise needs, but it does seem like the perfect next step.
