Stardew Valley features five types of wild tree, which includes every variety outside of fruit trees. Three of them are very common and grow in most areas: maples, oaks, and pines. Mahogany is rarer, because you can only get seeds from large stumps, large logs, and a few regrowing mahogany trees on Ginger Island.
