The strange Couple Training Program (or more accurately, social experiment) set up at Jir Yakuin's high school requires him to live with a member of the opposite sex while maintaining a healthy "romantic" relationship. This could work out great if he pairs up with the lovely Shiori Sakurazaka, but if the faux couples were voluntary, that wouldn't be any fun.
