Microsoft is adding new quests to Game Pass this month, with the lineup of in-game activities themed entirely around zombies.

Earlier today, Microsoft announced several new games will be coming to Xbox Game Pass in the coming weeks, including Red Dead OnlineFIFA 21, Outlast 2, and Psychonauts. Alongside the reveal, it's also been announced that the service will be refreshing its roster of completable quests, awarding players more points they can later redeem through the Microsoft Rewards app.

Officially beginning on May 4, the new lineup of quests are zombie-themed and will task players with revisiting the likes of Minecraft, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, State of Decay, and The Evil Within to wrack up virtual currency. Xbox hints that there are a number of titles supporting the in-game missions, with some even sporting the potential for quadruple points if players complete rare, one-day-only quests.

As for what exactly players will have to do, each game varies slightly. Players can obviously hop over to their console or boot up the Xbox Game Pass mobile app to check out the range of quests when they become available, however, Microsoft has given a few pointers to those wanting to quickly get stuck in tomorrow. For example, those playing Minecraft can snag themselves 150 points by slaying 20 zombies or monsters, meanwhile Resident Evil 7: Biohazard fans will be able to pick up another 150 points by finding 5 items. The Evil Within and State of Decay will also both offer 150 points, with players tasked with killing 3 enemies in the former and 11 enemies in the latter.

It's sure to be a fun month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers who frequently invest in the service's lineup of quests, especially as zombies will be a big theme for the next few weeks with Resident Evil Village hitting shelves. As for what else will be changing on Game Pass, the service will be adding several notable titles and removing some of its current library. As mentioned prior, Red Dead Online, FIFA 21, Outlast 2, and Psychonauts headline the additions, with games like Steep, Dragon Quest Builders 2, and Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remaster also joining the service.

However, Alan Wake, Hotline Miami, Final Fantasy 9, and more will depart, making room for the newer games coming to Xbox Game Pass. May already looks to be another significant month for Microsoft's popular subscription service, which already had a very strong four-week stint in April. Not only did it bring aboard People Can Fly's brand new shooter, Outriders, but it also secured MLB The Show 21, Second Extinction, and Grand Theft Auto 5. It currently has plans to bring several other notable games to the service later this year, with Microsoft already announcing that highly-anticipated games like Halo Infinite, STALKER 2, and 12 Minutes will be available for subscribers.
