The Sims 4 got off to a rocky start. Many fans lamented the loss of beloved features and the underwhelming nature of new ones. It took many years of content patches, updates, DLCs, and expansion packs for the game to finally be as rich in content as its predecessors, and fans can only hope that the launch of The Sims 5 doesn't repeat the same mistakes.
