The Elder Scrolls 6 may not star the Dragonborn again, but there's decent reason to suspect that players haven't heard the last of the legend. Like past games in the series, The Elder Scrolls 6 is likely to take place in a part of Tamriel far from the last game's location. For that reason, a return trip to Skyrim is probably out of the question. However, just like stories of the Daedra, Skyrim's legends don't have to remain restricted to the province. The Elder Scrolls 6 can keep the spirit of the Dragonborn alive through other means.
