Destiny 2's latest seasonal activity, The Coil, is arguably the best seasonal activity the game has ever had. The Coil is a multi-level mini-dungeon of sorts that gets increasingly difficult as players progress. A full run of the activity consists of four "pathways," each of which has unique obstacles to overcome and debuffs that can prove fatal if not kept at bay. A boss also lies in wait at the end of each pathway, which simultaneously makes the most challenging aspect of The Coil Destiny 2's Full Extinguish modifier. While Full Extinguish is active, the entire team will return to orbit if they deplete their shared pool of 21 revives, and they will lose any progress they made in The Coil previously.
