Despite the argument from those outside the Call of Duty bubble that every game in the series is the same, changes regularly happen from title to title. The modern games may all utilize the same seasonal format and Warzone focus, but in terms of gameplay, those hopping onto Black Ops Cold War will experience something that feels significantly different from Vanguard or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Whether it be Treyarch, Sledgehammer, or Infinity Ward, each developer likes to innovate in its own way and regularly abandons concepts from the previous game in favor of introducing its own ideas. However, with Call of Duty 2024, Treyarch should make sure that it keeps a handful of Modern Warfare 3 features, as they would work in every CoD game.
