Pokemon Scarlet and Violet recently wrapped up the story told in the base games as well as that told in The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk DLCs through an epilogue called Mochi Mayhem, pitting players against all sorts of trainers in Kitakami and then Gen 9's own Mythical Pokemon, Pecharunt. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Pecharunt had been rumored a long time ago, with leaks pointing out it would be the master of the Loyal Three as well as a callback to the Legend of Momotaro - a folk tale from Japan. Initially, The Teal Mask's story makes it seem like the Loyal Three were the heroes and Ogerpon the villain, but soon tables are turned as players discover the truth. However, in a new official video from The Pokemon Company, the situation seems much more complex - and quite tragic for Pecharunt.
