Weapon crafting in Destiny 2 has obvious benefits, but it has simultaneously created other issues that should disqualify it from being in a sequel.

Bungie's ongoing MMO Destiny 2 continues to be one of the best MMOs on the market, as its developer remains committed to ensuring its success despite recent controversy and criticism. At its core, Destiny 2 is a looter shooter in which players complete a wide variety of activities to strengthen their characters, both inherently and by acquiring and equipping increasingly powerful weapons and armor. A couple of years ago, in an effort to improve Destiny 2's loot experience, Bungie introduced a new feature to the game that allows players to craft weapons once they've obtained the patterns necessary to do so.
