Going on five years since its 2019 announcement, Hollow Knight: Silksong has undoubtedly been through a rigorous development process. As such, Silksong is one of the most anticipated games of 2024, though Team Cherry has yet to confirm if the game will be launched this year. The indie game will likely yield a richly crafted Metroidvania experience similar to its predecessor, but there's still a case to be made for DLC to be expected at a later date.
