Nvidia's RTX 4070 SUPER GPU is making waves for all the right reasons. Released in January 2024, it replaces the RTX 4070 at the $600 price tag while offering a similar VRAM configuration (both in clock speeds and bit rate), but it has a significantly higher CUDA core count and a slightly higher base clock. The RTX 4070 sees a soft price cut of $50, solidifying the updated price structure even as Nvidia extends more pain to AMD's mid-range GPUs, including the RX 7800XT, which finds itself outmatched in price-to-performance competition against Nvidia's latest GPU.
