Each time the player levels up a character by finishing a battle in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, they'll earn a certain amount of Rupies that can be spent on either an alternate outfit, or on acquiring some brand-new weapons. While this does allow a character to bring a new sword, axe, or bow into a fight, the weapons themselves don't deal any extra damage or have any special buffs of their own. Therefore, these are purely cosmetic changes that will demonstrate to the opponent just how much time and effort a player has put into leveling up their character to equip them with the fanciest skin possible.
