Whereas Cloud Retainer is making her playable debut in Version 4.4 as Xianyun, Liyue has introduced a sizable number of adepti over the course of its Archon Quests, and many of them have since become popular in the Genshin Impact community. Though Liyue characters such as Ganyu, Xiao, and Zhongli have already given fans the ability to play as an adeptus, it's understandable that players wanted to see the roster expanded over the years.
