Forming an empire is pretty straightforward in Crusader Kings 3, but maintaining it takes no small amount of effort.

Forming an empire is a great way to consolidate power over large regions, as well as unite multiple kingdoms under a single banner in Crusader Kings 3. There are a number of advantages to forming an empire, but players will first need to hold several Kingdom titles (or equivalent) in a specific region before they are able to create one. In addition to a massive amount of Prestige gain per title, players will also receive increases to their Domain Limit and maximum number of both Knights and Regiments. On top of that, players will gain a +60 Vassal Limit and +32 Scheme Resistance, making assassinations and misfortune less likely than at lower titles.
